Matthew A. Evans

President and Chief Executive Officer

Matt helped form Bankers Service Corporation in 1997. In addition to overseeing the operations of the company, he is involved in loan review, compliance audit, internal audit, training, and consulting client institutions.

Prior to joining BSC, Matt was a Commissioned Bank Examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in the Lexington, Kentucky field office. Matt served as Examiner-in-Charge on numerous safety and soundness as well as compliance examinations. Matt also has prior banking experience.

Matt is a 2004 graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Edgar Hartley

Senior Loan Review and Senior Consultant

Ed joined the BSC team in 2003. Formerly the Field Office Supervisor of the FDIC’s Lexington field office. Ed provides strong experience in all areas that BSC services, most notably in the Loan Review area.

Prior to joining BSC, Ed was the FDIC Field Office Manager for the Lexington, Kentucky Field Office for 30 years. He also has extensive banking experience.
